ende 2007 erhob sich aus der asche von sanguis et cinis lolita komplex.
geschickt kombiniert die band energetischen, rockigen oldschool goth-rock und kompromisslosen metal mit japanischen visual kei-einflüssen und einer gehörigen portion "back to the roots". die optik ist bei lolita komplex mit ein wesentlicher bestandteil des konzepts, ohne die musik dabei zu überlagern.
so geht es mal evil, mal cute, mal schräg, mal elegant zur sache.
nur eines auf jeden fall nie - langweilig.

once upon a time, after several years of thrilling excitement, 4 hippos decided to take over the world. their first idea how to achieve this, which is of course the most evident one, was to start a band. since that decision the hippos started to practice and after a few days of hard work they finally got the skills to run their plan. convince yourself!
